⅔ cup of lightly salted softened butter
⅔ cup of softened cannabis butter
¾ cup of superfine sugar
Scant 1½ cups of self-rising flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
What’s needed for the buttercream
1⅓ cups of unsalted softened butter
1⅓ cups of sifted confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of hot water
HOW TO MAKE WEED CUPCAKES
First of all you need to pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees. Empty the box of cake mix into a fairly large sized bowl. Break the eggs and add to the bowl of cake mix. Now add the canna oil as well as the water. Beat the contents of the bowl at a low speed for about thirty seconds. Then continue beating at medium speed for another 2 minutes.If you don’t have canna oil and you are using normal oil instead, this is the time to add the ground cannabis.
Next add the chocolate chips and beat or hand whisk until creamy. It is suggested to hand whisk after adding the chocolate chips because beating would cause the chocolate chips to break into little bits or powder.
Now line the cupcake tray with the cupcake liners and fill each cupcake liner with the mix you just whisked. Make sure you fill the liners to two thirds only so as to allow for the mix to expand on baking. Add a little cannabis kief on top of each mix and stir to mix the kief in. You may chose not to stir it and leave it just as it is for the sake of novelty.
Place the neatly lined tray in the oven and heat for it for 15 to 20 minutes. Once done, carefully remove the tray by using oven mitts on your hand for safety. Leave it to cool for about twenty to twenty five minutes. Finally, spread the frosting on each cupcake. Your cupcakes are now ready to be eaten!
Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 176 Celsius.
Line a 12-section standard-sized muffin pan with paper cupcake cases.
Put the cake ingredients into a large bowl, then beat with a hand-held electric beater until creamy and light.
Divide the cake batter equally between the cupcake cases.
Bake cupcakes for 20 minutes or until risen and firm enough to touch.
Transfer cupcakes out of the oven to cool off.
Put butter and confectioners sugar into a bowl, beat until creamy.
Add vanilla extract and hot water, mix and beat until smooth.
After, spread buttercream over cupcakes.
